The historic Hampshire towns of Winchester, Portsmouth and Southampton are nearby and so is the New Forest.

To the North within easy reach by car is the historic university town of Oxford and the Cotswolds.

London to the East is easily reached by car or train (from Basingstoke or Alton stations)

To the west are the rolling chalk downs of Wiltshire with Stonehenge and Salisbury less than an hour away by car.

Wherever you go you will find an abundance of entertainment, cultural or sporting interest.

Basic sleeping accommodation is available on site or bring your tent or caravan.

Holiday courses are available for both novice, solo and experienced pilots but you don't have to be booked on one of our Gliding Courses to make Lasham your holiday base. Temporary memberships are available daily, weekly or monthly for glider pilots visiting from other UK clubs or abroad are always welcome, with or without their glider.
